Print & Verify

SL is a starwheel labeling machine for automatic labeling of bottles. The system uses a star wheel principle for accurate positioning of the bottles during the labeling process and is intended for applications where stable product handling and accurate label application are important.

WHY MACHINE VISION INSPECTION?

Combine Precision and Efficiency

Manual or unstable labeling processes compromise line capacity and compliance. Advanced INEL industrial labeling solutions provide a stable, high-speed process tailored to your specific product orientation and production environment.

Automation of Manual Tasks

Transition from manual or unstable labeling to a fully automated process, significantly increasing throughput and reducing operator workload.

High-Speed Synchronization

Systems are engineered to match line speeds while maintaining a high application accuracy of ±1 mm (depending on the system type).

Total Product Control

Utilization of linear or star-wheel (rotary) positioning to ensure products—from vials to transport boxes—are correctly oriented at the moment of application.

Specialized Applicator Technology

Support for Tamp, Swing-arm, and Blow-on applicators for versatile placement on the front, top, or around the corner of a product.

Material Versatility

Reliable handling of various label types, including paper, plastic, and tamper-evident seals.

WHY PARTNER WITH INEL?

Your trusted provider of tailored visual inspection solutions

With over 25 years of expertise, 100% in-house development and specialized engineering teams, INEL can effectively tackle a wide range of visual inspection challenges across several industry sectors.

We don’t treat visual inspection solutions as isolated modules, but as an integral part of your entire production and packaging process. Every system is developed based on the actual application, product type, line speed, and specific requirements of the broader production environment.
Instead of offering generic cameras or standard controls, we tailor our visual inspection solutions to your specific manufacturing process. This includes the precise selection of optics, lighting, capture methods, and inspection logic, ensuring seamless data processing and connectivity with your other systems.
Our expertise in the fields of track and trace, labeling, and automation allows us to embed our visual inspection solutions into wider systems that support traceability, product routing, and automated rejection. Because our technologies are designed to complement one another, adding one INEL system often serves as the foundation for optimizing your entire production line.
In many cases, clients do not prefer the most technically complex solutions, instead opting for those that solve actual problems and are sustainable in the long term. We therefore aim for the perfect balance between technical complexity and actual usability.
We excel in applications where visual inspection machines and software must be adapted to demanding conditions, such as varied formats, high line speeds, or limited physical space. Our systems are specifically engineered to meet these challenges while adhering to the requirements of the most tightly regulated sectors, such as the pharmaceutical industry.

WHAT OUR ENGINERS THINK

What You Should Know About Labeling Systems

“In labeling solutions, it is important that the system not only supports accurate application but also supports requirements such as 21 CFR Part 11 and ensures traceability of management, access and process data. This is especially important in regulated environments where any intervention in the system must be properly controlled.”

FAQS

Frequently Asked Questions

INEL provides visual inspection solutions engineered as an integral part of your entire production process rather than isolated modules. Our core advantage lies in the native synergy between inspection, labeling, and Track & Trace, where one INEL system serves as the stable foundation for the automation of your entire lines. By balancing technical complexity with operator usability, we ensure our systems solve concrete problems while remaining manageable for long-term production.

Yes, INEL specializes in seamlessly integrating visual inspection solutions into existing production environments, regardless of the original manufacturer. What is more, our other technologies (track and trace, labeling) are designed to complement one another.

Rather than operating as isolated modules, our visual inspection solutions function as a native extension of your wider automation environment. Key integrations include:

  • Track & Trace: Verifying code accuracy, serialization data, and aggregation links.
  • Labeling Systems: Confirming label presence, precise positioning, and content legibility.
  • Quality Control & Packaging: Validating product and packaging integrity before subsequent process phases.
  • Line Automation: Direct synchronization with rejection logic, error signaling, and product flow routing.
